Graduate Student Appreciation Week is a nationally recognized celebration honoring the dedication, impact, and achievements of graduate and professional students. At Georgia Tech, we’re excited to highlight the invaluable contributions these students make to our campus community. Throughout the week, a series of events and promotions will offer opportunities to connect, recharge, and have some fun—all while showcasing how much we appreciate our graduate student community.

Kick-Off Luncheon
- Location: Texas Instruments Plaza (Skiles Courtyard as rain location)
- Time: 11:30 am to 1:30 p.m.
- Description: Monday FUNday! While supplies last, join us for food, tshirts, and games!
Tech Rec Takeover
- Location: Tech Rec
- Time: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Description: Join Graduate Student Programming for a night of fun in Tech Rec! Enjoy food (while supplies last), bowling, billiards, and friends.

Project Connect Friending Pop-Up for Grad Students – HOSTED BY CENTER FOR STUDENT ENGAGEMENT
- Location: John Lewis Student Center, Room 3108
- Time: 11 a.m. - Noon
- Description: Looking to make some new friends? Join us for an hour of connection and conversation with your fellow graduate students. Introverts welcome.
BME Grad Appreciation Brunch & Social – HOSTED BY BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING
- Location: UAW 1103 & UAW 4th Floor Learning Commons
- Time: 11 a.m. - Noon
- Description: Join BME for a brunch‑style social featuring bingo, board games, and light competition. Notes: For BME Grad Students only.
Twilight Heights
- Location: Leadership Challenge Course
- Time: 5 – 7:30 p.m.
- Description: Ready to challenge yourself and see campus from a whole new perspective? Join your fellow graduate students to unwind, connect, and push your limits on the leadership challenge course as the sun goes down. Enjoy an evening of adventure and community —no experience required, just your curiosity and a spirit of fun!

- Description: We invite you to come and meet Dean of Students, John Stein, while enjoying a cold treat and engaging in conversation with the Dean’s Team.

Goat Yoga
- Location: BioTech Quad
- Time: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Description: A staple of GSAW! Take a break in your day to practice mindfulness and movement with dwarf goats. Expert instructors will lead the class.

BME Grad Appreciation De‑Stress Fest – HOSTED BY BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING
- Location: UAW 1103 & UAW 4th Floor Learning Commons
- Time: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- Description: Join BME for a drop‑in de‑stress experience featuring a 45‑minute guided De‑Stress Workshop!

Sting Break Grad Area
- Location: Texas Instruments Plaza
- Time: 6 – 9 p.m.
- Description: Sting Break is SCPC's giant student appreciation carnival including attractions such as free giveaways and food, music, inflatables, novelties, and carnival rides. This year’s Sting Break will feature a “grad student only” area that will include tie dye kits, funnel cakes, and more!
