The Student & Campus Event Centers (SCEC) Programs Team enhances the Georgia Tech student experience through a wide range of events, programs, and spaces that foster connection, creativity, recreation, and community. Sponsorship opportunities are available across our portfolio, including signature events and campus traditions produced by the Student Center Programs Council (SCPC), graduate and commuter student engagement initiatives, and experiences offered through spaces such as Tech Rec (our on-campus bowling & billiards space), Paper & Clay (or on-campus craft space), and the Graduate Student Lounge. Through our sponsorship options, your organization can connect with thousands of students each year while supporting programs that enrich campus life and strengthen student engagement.

Student Center Programs Council Events

GT Night at Six Flags6,000+ GT students and guestsSCPC rents out Six Flags Over Georgia and take students and guests there. We rent 18 buses to get them to and from the park safely. We have opportunities with incorporating your brand into a lot of pieces of this event.
Sting Break2,500-3,000 GT studentsThis on-campus student appreciation carnival takes place the week after Spring Break. SCPC brings carnival rides, games, activities, giveaways, T-shirts, and snacks to show their appreciation to GT students.
GT Night at the Aquarium3,800 GT students and guestsSCPC rents out the Georgia Aquarium and invites students and guests to see the aquatic life at a discounted price. Students, guests, and even staff attend this GT tradition.
Midnight Breakfast1,700-2,000 GT studentsThis GT tradition is held every semester on the Monday of Finals week. GT students are served free breakfast from 9 pm - 12 am and can enjoy stress relieving activities. High-profile GT staff are present to serve breakfast and cheer on students during finals.
Live Performances200 - 2,000 GT studentsSCPC hosts a Fall Concert and Spring Comedy Show annually for Georgia Tech Students. These events are typically free and showcase nationally recognized and emerging artists.

Graduate Student Sting Break Area200+As part of Sting Break each year, a special area is set aside for Graduate Students to meet, engage in activities, and enjoy a special grad only snack. Participants have access to the rest of Sting Break.
Commuter Student Appreciation Week150-200 in year oneCommuter Student Appreciation Week - or CSAW - is an annual program held in September that recognizes and celebrates Georgia Tech’s commuter students by fostering connection, appreciation, and belonging through a week of engaging programs that highlight their unique contributions to campus life.

 

Programming Space Sponsorships

Paper & Clay

Paper and Clay is an on-campus creative space located in the Pavilion space (across from Dunkin' and Jimmy Johns). This space exists for students and other guests to unwind, build community, and learn new skills. With eight pottery wheels, pre-made ceramics for glazing, large format printing, and a variety of arts and crafts, Paper and Clay is the perfect place to make art and meet people!

Programming opportunities include hosting a craft buy-out day or sponsoring specialty classes such as pottery throwing.

Tech Rec

Tech Rec is a recreational space located on the first floor of John Lewis Student Center. Tech Rec exists for students and members of the campus community to unwind and have fun. With six bowling lanes, billiards tables, and plenty of seating and a fun atmosphere, it is the perfect place to stop by for a quick game or for hosting a special event.

Programming opportunities include sponsoring a month of free play Mondays or sponsoring tournaments.

Graduate Student Lounge

The Graduate Student Lounge is a lounge for graduate students to connect with one another in a relaxed environment and attend events that are geared toward the graduate student audience.

Programming opportunities include hosting an open house at the beginning of each semester, sponsoring grad specific areas at large events such as Sting Break and Midnight Breakfast, and hosting grad specific mixers before GT Nights at Six Flags and the Georgia Aquarium.

Bronze Level - $5,000

  • Your team tabling at one event to interact with students in attendance

Silver Level - $10,000

  • Your team bringing a brand activation to one event to interact with students
  • Logo and branding on all event marketing materials (flyers, social media, etc.)

  • Custom merchandising – We hand out your promo items for you
  • Activity sponsor – Your company can be named as a sponsor for a specific activity

Gold Level - $20,000

  • Title sponsor – Your company is named in the title of the event. Your team brings a large brand activation to one event to interact with students
  • Logo and branding on all event materials (T-shirts, flyers, social media, etc.)
  • Your brand’s marketing on Student Center digital display screens the week of the event
  • Custom merchandising – We hand out your promo items for you
  • Product demonstrations or information sessions at event
  • Post-event summary report – Data from students with up to 2 questions about your brand on the survey sent to all student attendees
  • Other creative opportunities – Let’s talk about what you want to do!

Platinum Level - $60,000

  • Bundle of FOUR Gold Level Sponsorship Events in one year

Plasma Promotions

Amplify your reach by showcasing a digital flyer on our 14 high-visibility plasma screens throughout the SCEC facilities, where more than 17,000 students and visitors pass by each day during the academic year. Your message will be front and center in the campus buzz, all for just $100 per week per advertisement.
