OUTGOING MAIL
To ensure that all outgoing mail is processed and delivered in the most efficient and cost effective manner, please adhere to the following guidelines when preparing your mailings:
  • All mail must include a delivery address and a return address. Please contact the Post Office for examples of the U.S. Postal Service's proper addressing format
  • Type or print all address information in upper case letters
  • Use the two-letter State abbreviation
  • Put City, State, and Zip Code in that order on the last address line. If you wish to include an "Attention" line, it should appear as the second line of the address.

 

Business Reply Mail
Business reply postage and handling charges are billed back to the appropriate departments. Before you design a business reply envelope or card, call the Campus Post Office or Printing and Copying Services for the proper format. The U.S. Postal Service has strict preparation requirements for Business Reply Mail.
